Guide to renting plates, flatware and glassware:
The good news is that we’re going to do the dishes. The bad news is that you still need to figure out how many (and what size) of everything you’ll need. Overwhelmed? Start here:
-
Does your caterer provide any of the plates, glasses or flatware that you'll need?
Many do not, but if they do, you might be done here (though we might want to check out our chargers up there). ↑ -
Have you finalized your menu and gotten a list of what to order from your caterer?
We can certainly start the process by adding a "standard lineup" of small wares to your order but will need some input to ensure you don't wind up with a bread plate for a soup course. Your caterer/bartending service (or whoever is filling those roles) are the best resource to ensure you've thought of everything. -
Do you have vendors that will need vendor meals?
Those meals will likely need to be accounted for in your rental order. We're not suggesting that your photos might turn out better if your photographer gets to eat their dinner with a fork but... -
Have you ordered a few extra?
Things happen, our plates and glasses are breakable. - Are there food/beverage elements that are a part of the party that might be outside your main vendor(s) purview? An event with a late-night snack is a fun touch but the execution can often be overlooked. Make sure there's a plan to serve/eat/drink all the things you plan to serve.
